VW Action Summer Party 2005

'Beetlemania' was the theme for this years VW Action summer party. Again held at the Herts County Showground we had a good turn out of GolfGTI.co.uk forum member faces.

The weather was odd all weekend, swapping from bright sunshine one minute to dark clouds the next. Friday night was freeeeeezing!

Saturday daytime, after realising there were 5 Rallye's on site, I managed to collect them up for a few photos. Thanks people :)

As ever with these events, air-cooled have by far the major presence in both cars and trade stands. On Sunday a lot of good water-cooled VW's magically appeared for the show n shine though.

This was the first time I had seen Clair and Gary's 20v Caddy project. It looked stunning, yet was somehow overlooked by the prize judges - very strange.
